Tooth Whitening

What is Tooth Whitening?

Tooth Whitening Procedures are simply techniques used to improve the colour of your teeth. We offer two alternatives depending on how rapidly the results are required.

In the first, we provide you with trays specially made to fit the shape of your mouth, into which you apply bleaching gel (at home). These bleaching trays are then worn, ideally, for a few hours each day (or night) until the desired improvement is achieved. Usually taking between 2 to 4 weeks.

The second alternative being a single visit treatment in the surgery using much higher potency bleaching gels, which have their particles accelerated by a Dentist Operated plasma (sub-laser) light. This is usually completed in around and hour and a quarter.

Sometimes a hybrid regime is recommended in which a combination of both of the above techniques is employed. Whichever route is chosen, the end result is a whiter more confident and attractive smile achieved painlessly.
